Very Frustrating

Posted August 7, 2008 at 1:36PM in Vent and Confess by vtmomof2 | Back

Life is crazy but wonderful.

Today has been very frustrating for me.  My kids are actually being really good, but I have been dealing with so much from so many other things that I am about to cry.  Our chimney and stove stuff is suppose to be done tomorrow and we still have to do some work before they come.  My hubby has been working so late lately that we haven't been able to do any of this stuff that needs to be fixed before the guy comes to do the work.  Then I thought today was Wednesday and I spent the day acting like it was Wednesday and then realized it is Thursday and I have less time than I thought to get things done.  I got a bill from my college and none of my student loans appeared on it, so they charged me a late fee.  I called student accounts and they said that they don't have my student loans, I called financial aid and they said I am all set, even with my student loans.  So now I am waiting for the two offices to get together and figure out who forgot me, whether it was them or VSAC - student lending place in VT, for those who don't know.   So now I have to appeal the late fee because it was erroneously applied, but they won't just remove it, no, I have to appeal it.  So now I am incredibly frustrated because if this student loan stuff doesn't work out, I have to wait until next semester to go back because I can't go without the loans, unfortunately.  Every year it is the same way, something doesn't go smoothly.  This has been a long and rough week.  First the chimney sweep wouldn't deliver my stove, but did charge us the delivery fee which we had to argue to get back, then all this rain that will probably delay our chimney work and installation, and now the school stuff.  I have a headache.

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

thank you guys, it is nothing sharing my troubles with my mybaby friends to make me feel better. I haven't heard anything about my loans, and my chimney guy put the hole in my wall for my stove, but wasn't able to do all the work, but it is rescheduled. I think I am going to let it all go until Monday and deal with my school stuff then. I think it will all work out, and if it doesn't I can handle that also - my mantra that I learned from my daughter's anxiety therapy, apparently her therapist feels if she treats me it will help her, I don't know how she could possibly think I'm anxious (sarcasism (sp?)). Tomorrow I'm going to the farmers market, rain or shine, and to the furniture store to look for a loveseat for my family room. All is good when you shop.:)
