Another Year, Another Book!

Sneaky Chef

Here it is, barely a few days into 2008, and everyone is already asking me what I have planned for the year.

Well, with all the publicity of the past 2 days, I guess part of that question has already been answered by the media.  But I don't want that particular publicity to take the focus off of what's really important: feeding our kids, and ourselves, healthier foods.

So, for 2008 I also have something else in mind entirely: a new book for men. After all, it's not just our kids who need to eat right.  As moms we also have to take care of our husbands, often via the quality of the meals that we cook for him.  The book is called, The Sneaky Chef: How to Cheat on Your Man (in the Kitchen!)–Hiding Healthy Foods in Hearty Meals Any Man Will Love.  It's loaded with men's favorite macho meals that also happen to be packed with tons of totally hidden super foods, like spinach, cauliflower, beans and whole grains.

I tested the recipes on firemen and other macho men who want their food to taste like it should, but also to be healthy.  The outcome is over 100 of the healthiest, best tasting men's recipes any of these guys ever thought possible. Many of them are actually family recipes, too, like healthy burgers, dips and hearty sandwiches.

So here's to a happy, nutritious year ahead–for you and all of your family!

With healthiest regards,

Missy

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

GENIUS! thanks because I get stuck in this department. Healthy, in my mind, usually means not hearty or tasty or guy-food. can't wait to cheat on my hubby!

AWESOME!!! I have the hardest time getting DH to eat veggies and I know some of the men in my family could definitely benefit from hidden wonders, heck even myself. We love our men and want to keep them healthy and happy. Someone once told me "what you don't know is sometimes for your own best", I think that is so true when it comes to health foods. You go Sneaky Chef.
Best Wishes for a wonderful New Year. Good Luck with everything!
