Oh don't even get me started on this. Hannaford - yes I will call them out does this too. I refuse to buy their organic stuff because the veggies always look like crap since they were shipped from god knows where and the fruit and other veggies are wrapped like you said. Stupid, stupid stupid. What gets my goat even more about Hannaford is they have this line of organic products now under the name Natures' Place Organic. Everything from salsa to canned beans etc. BEWARE. I was buying their cans of black beans and pinto beans and my friend noticed one day the bottom of the can of black beans said PRODUCT OF CHINA. "F" that. I am NOT buying food from china just because you slap an organic sticker on it. They are only in this organic game for the money. That is totally crap in my opinion. I am so sick and tired of it all. What should you do? Write a letter, don't buy the products, spread the word. Let's make a stink!

that is a pointless measure! The company could save money as well! But packaging in general gives me facial ticks. I HATE buying toys where you need to be houdini to get the dang thing out, and throwing out the packaging takes up your entire garbage can. Is it really necessary?

I think it's important to: 1. tell the grocery store your concerns (packaging is pretty danged damaging to the environment and sending food from China? Their quality control STINKS!) 2. Write the the PRESIDENT of the food store chain (you should be able to find the address online via Google) and you'll at least get a reply. 3. Let all your friends know and get them to speak to the store as well. Or drop a suggestion into a suggestion box. But speaking out does change things!

this one does really make me irritated...I'm paying extra for no chemicals, not the trays made in china with chemical molds, right?
